As responsible breeders of Jack Russell Terriers we do the following:
1. Plan each litter conscientiously. The Sire and the Dam to be mated is selected by the breeder based on pedigrees, the parents' conformation and temperament.
2. We only breed from adults that are free from any inheritable defects and avoid the introduction of any known detrimental genetic factors. We do not breed any adults with known genetic defects.
3. We always aim to improve the general canine characteristics according to the breed standard.
4. We only breed with healthy, mature females, allowing proper spacing between litters.
5. We evaluate at all times the condition of the females before mating is allowed.
6. We do not breed any female to more than one stud dog during a single heat period.
7. Puppies are cared for like children. Each puppy will be registered individually.
8. We do not dock tails; however, we have short tail genetics where some puppies are born with short tails.
9. We comply, as registered breeders of Jack Russell Terriers, with all the rules and regulations of Canine SA.
